ocean explosion is a transdisciplinary formed in 2023 by Flurina Zehnder and Damien Kuntz.

Together they explore the instersectionality of the mermaid right’s call to action, why microplastic is horrible, how giga-chad dolphins are being more insufferable everyday, or how to catch lightning in a bottle.

As recipients of the 2025 SCRATCH! open call from MusikFestival Bern and the Bern University of Arts, they are currently working on a new work, which will be premiered at MusikFestival Bern on September 4th 2026.
